These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the services provided by Billy’s Battery & Tyres ("we", "our", "us"). By booking or using our mobile automotive services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Services
We provide mobile automotive services including, but not limited to:
- Battery testing and replacement
- Jumpstart services
- Flat tyre repair and replacement
- Roadside assistance
Estimated arrival times are indicative only and may vary due to traffic, weather conditions, location, or unforeseen circumstances.
2. Bookings and Service Requests
By requesting a service, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and complete. You are responsible for ensuring that your vehicle is accessible and safe for our technicians to perform the requested work.
3. Pricing and Payment
- All prices quoted are estimates and may vary depending on vehicle type, battery specifications, tyre size, or additional issues identified during inspection.
- Final pricing will be confirmed before work is carried out.
- Payment is due immediately upon completion of service unless otherwise agreed.
- We accept major credit/debit cards, EFTPOS, and other approved payment methods.
4. Cancellations and Call-Out Fees
If you need to cancel a booking, you must notify us as soon as possible. Cancellations made after a technician has been dispatched may incur a call-out fee to cover travel and operational costs.
5. Warranties
- Batteries: Manufacturer warranties typically range from 12 to 36 months, depending on the product selected. Warranty coverage applies to manufacturing defects only.
- Workmanship: We provide a workmanship guarantee for services performed, valid for 3 months from the service date.
Warranties do not cover damage caused by misuse, neglect, faulty vehicle electrical systems, accidents, or normal wear and tear.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- We are not liable for pre-existing mechanical or electrical faults.
- We are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses, including loss of income or business interruption.
- Our total liability is limited to the cost of the service provided.
7. Customer Responsibilities
- Ensure your vehicle is legally parked and accessible for service.
- Disclose any known mechanical or electrical issues.
- Follow manufacturer instructions and maintenance recommendations.
8. Safety and Refusal of Service
We reserve the right to refuse service if conditions are unsafe, unlawful, or pose a risk to our technicians or equipment.
9. Intellectual Property
All website content, branding, logos, and materials remain the intellectual property of Billy’s Battery & Tyres and may not be reproduced without written permission.
10. Privacy
Your use of our services is also governed by our Privacy Policy.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Updated versions will be published on this page with the revised date.
